ELIGIBILITY: Subject to the additional restrictions below. The BS-GPS is open to residents of the United States and Canada who are sixteen (16) years or older at the time of entry. Employees of Backcountry Secrets and affiliated companies and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter to win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren.

HOW TO ENTER AND WIN:

1. Submit a point to Backcountry Secrets between 12:01AM May 1st 2008, and Midnight October 31, 2008 Mountain Time.
2. The point must be approved by a Backcountry Secrets administrator.
3. If you win, you agree to send a digital picture of yourself holding the GPS unit. We will be posting this on the Blog with your username
4. For every point you submit and have approved you will receive 1 ticket in our drawing.
5. You may entire as many times as you'd like.

PRIZE DESCRIPTION; ODDS: The grand prize Winner will be given one Garmin eTrex Adventure Pack. Value of the prize is listed at $249.99 retail. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND ACCEPTANCE: Backcountry Secrets will contact the winner directly by e-mail. After all submitted points within the specified contest period have been reviewed. The username of the winner will be posted on the Backcountry Secrets blog once a winner is determined. Winners may waive their right to receive prize. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes are subject to availability and Backcountry Secrets reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes each entrant's consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Backcountry Secrets.

PARTICIPATION: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Backcountry Secrets. Backcountry Secrets reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by Backcountry Secrets. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Backcountry Secrets which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Backcountry Secrets reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Backcountry Secrets reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.
