Kiteboarding is based on the sport of kitesurfing. Kiteboarding involves using a mountain board, skiis, snowboard, or landboard and a kite to propel the boarder. Ideally kiteboarding and kitesurfing are done in large empty areas where there is constant wind. This section of Backcountry Secrets is our list of places to kiteboard and kitesurf.
