The Firth River Bottoms is a semi-developed camping area. NO FEES. Some sites have tables and campfire rings. It is right on the Snake River so there is fishing, hiking, & camping canoeing. This is a good area for Boy Scout outings. All most anything but rock climbing. Beaver, deer, turkey, and other river bottom animals are often seen there. It is a first come no reservation type area. There is a shelter in one area.

You can hike around in the trees. This is a good place to set up an orienteering course or go geocaching.
