Bighorn Canyon Wyoming

The section I did is about 20 miles from Horseshoe Bend and Barry's Landing. Warning: This is in a narrow canyon. If you can't make the 20 miles, there's little or no options for getting out of the canyon until you get to Barry's Landing (or turn back the way you came). Also there can be very strong winds in this canyon, so be careful.

Depending on how deep the water is, there may be motor boats cruising around. When I did it, the water was too low for motor boats and there was a bit of a current heading North. It's a very scenic and enjoyable paddle, in the right conditions.
