From I-70 take Hwy 7. Go about a mile. Turn left on Park Road. Go another mile and you'll see the nature center. The Missouri Tree Trail trail is just to the left of the building.

The Bethany Falls trail is 1.3 miles. It is a wood chip covered trail. It is one of the best hiking trails in the Kansas City area. The entire trail is surrounded by dense forest. You pass some of the early settlers cabins. There are information markers along the trail with history and area information. It gets its name from the type of limestone in the area, "Bethany Falls" limestone.

There is a restroom and picnic area at the beginning of the trail.
