Located approximately 30 minutes from Eugene on Hwy 58. Turn off Hwy 58 1/10 East of Goodman Creek Rd. in designated parking lot and trail head. Trail is single track, very wooded and has a feeling of remoteness despite it's proximity to Hwy 58. Follow trail uphill approx. 3 miles to intersection at gravel road. Trail continues on other side of road another mile or so to Eagle rest Summit. Signage is minimal and there is only a Surveyors stamp on a stone to indicate Eagle Rest. Magnificent view! You can ride/hike down trail or take fire road to Hwy 58. There is a reservoir across Hwy 58.

The hiking information for Eagle Rest is basically the same for the mountain biking trail, just use boots instead of pedals for your feet.
