Take State Highway 30 to Canyon Creek Road. Proceed in a northeasterly direction about 14 miles to the intersection with the Danskin Lookout Road (Forest Road 167). Along this route Canyon Creek Road will become the Mayfield road at the Immigrant Road intersection and will change from pavement to gravel about 4 miles from the Highway 30 turnoff. Turn right following the signs on Danskin Lookout Road and continue up the hill and ahead from about 9 miles to the Case Creek Trailhead.

The Danskin Mountain Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Area encompasses 60,000 acres and provides more than 150 miles of Off-Highway Motorcycle (OHM) and All-terrain Vehicle (ATV) trails in a mountainous, high desert setting. Trails of varying difficulty from "Easiest" to "Most Difficult" occur within the area providing recreation opportunities for riders of all skill levels. The area is composed of predominantly National Forest System land, but includes State of Idaho Endowment land and land administered by the Bureau of Land Management. There are also several private land parcels within the area.

Trails are open to motorized and non-motorized uses. Motorized use is limited to OHMs and ATVs less than 48 inches wide on designated trails only. Each trail is clearly signed for the type of motorized use allowed. Full-sized vehicles like jeeps, pickups and motorized vehicles over 48 'inches wide are restricted to the roads shown on the Danskin Mountain OHV map. Mountain bike, equestrian and hiking enthusiasts are welcome and are not restricted to designated trails at this time.

The trails are generally snow-free and accessible April through November. Most motorized use occurs during April through June and from September through November, due to the high temperatures and dry-slick trail conditions of mid-summer months.

Seasonal closures for wheeled vehicles arein effect between January 1 and April 10, every year unless otherwise posted.
