To get there, park at NCAR just west of Boulder. Follow the well-marked trail to the west, and follow the signs to the cave. The hike is approximately 1.5 miles each way and gains 900 feet in elevation. A hard-rock scramble leads up to the entrance.

There are no points within 15 miles of this point.

Mallorys is a small sandstone shelter cave consisting of one undecorated room. Boulder Mountain Parks closes this cave from June through October because of the nesting bats inside.

Please respect the fences to protect the bat population.
