Located on the shore of the Gros Ventre River where Crystal Creek merges with the river, the campground is remote and surrounded by the beautifully-colored hillsides of the Gros Ventre range.
At an elevation of 7300 ft., the campground contains 6 campsites in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Open from May to September, the fee is $10/night, which, for its proximity to Grand Teton National Park, is a nice alternative to the $18/night-fees for camping within the park boundaries.
Surrounding activities include hiking, fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming, and more. Really a nice, quiet campground for those who prefer to get away from the mainstream sites within the national parks.
