From Ramona through Julian:
Take State Highway 78 East to Scissors Crossing.
Then take Highway S2 south about 26 miles to Agua Caliente County Park.

From Interstate 8:
Go east on Interstate 8.
Exit at Ocotillo.
Take Highway S2 22 miles north to Agua Caliente County Park.

Total distance from San Diego is just over 110 miles.

Agua Caliente County Park has a developed campground with full hook-ups, partial hook-ups, and non hook-ups. There are also tent sites available. There is also a large group area that is available. The park is very popular during the winter so you'll want to make reservations.

Agua Caliente County Park is located in the Anza Borrego Desert and has geothermally heated springs that you can soak in. There are a total of 3 naturally fed pools that provide different ways of enjoying the park's mineral water. The pools are man-made.

There are two pools outdoors, and one indoor pool. The indoor pool is heated to 102 degrees and has jacuzzi jets.
