Rigby Lake Beach Idaho

Rigby Beach is a great place to cool down in the summer. The lake is deep enough to use canoes or sail boats. There is a shallow area that is great for children to play in and plenty of beach nearby for parents to watch.

The beach has restrooms and a small boat dock. Motorized boats are not allowed on the water, except for when the local police are training.

On the bad side, there is not much shade. So if someone if your party is not going to swim, there isn't many places for them to sit.

Rigby Lake is a great place to learn canoeing basics. There is plenty of shallow water all around the lake for practicing swamping your canoe. Plenty of room to practice paddling as there are very few other boats. The trees around the lake help to calm the wind a little bit. It's for fun children to cross the lake and go to the "island" to explore. There are fish in the lake, so you may want to bring a fishing pole.

Campsites have fire pits, picnic tables, and are located right on the beach. There is a fee to camp here. Site is close to town in case your forgot anything.
