1. From Hwy 97 in Terrebonne, turn east onto B Ave, at the flashing light. (The name soon changes to Smith Rock Way)

2. Go over railroad tracks, down a short steep hill, and turn left onto NE 1st Street. This turn is a half mile from the flashing light.

3. Follow for 1.8 miles (the name changes to Wilcox Ave), and turn left onto NE Crooked River Drive.

Follow this road for a half mile until you enter the state park.

Smith Rock has hundreds of different rock climbing routes to take. This is ideal for a rock climbing wall because that means beginners and experts alike can climb it as they can take different routes. Its 3000 feet tall and made of basalt and tuff. Smith Rock is in Oregon, where there are many other rock walls. The best times to climb Smith Rock is in the spring or fall when the temperatures aren't so extreme.
