Lake Mineral Wells State Park and Trailway is located 4 miles east of Mineral Wells, TX on US Highway 180 or 14 miles west of Weatherford, TX on US Highway 180.

Take I 20 west out of Dallas Fort Worth to Weatherford. Take HWY 180 west to Mineral Wells. The Park is on HWY 180 right near Mineral Wells City Limit.

Be sure to check in at the main office before you climb. You'll get a route map and a climbing pass for a minimal fee.

The difficulty of these climbs range from about 5.5 to 5.12. Top ropes around 60 ft. There are anchors but they are mostly slinging trees and boulders. Be sure to bring long slings and hexes/tricams if you can.

Call before you go. These climbs may be closed in wet weather.
