From Logan, Utah: take HWY 89 east to Garden City; go south on HWY 30 for approximately 8 miles to the Rendezvous Beach parking lot entrance.

From Pocatello, Idaho: take I-15 south toward McAmmon; exit at HWY 30 and go east on 30; go south on HWY 89 at Montpelier; continue south about 8 miles past Garden City to the Rendezvous Beach parking lot entrance.

Bear Lake straddles the border between Utah and Idaho and has many beaches surrounding its shores. The Lake is very clear and a beautiful shade of blue to the naked eye. Rendezvous Beach has a good swimming area closed to boats and provides a beautiful view of the lake looking north. The water temperature is really nice toward the end of the summer, but still good in the early and mid parts of the season.
