Go south on US Highway 377 out of Ft Worth. Go Left to the entrance to Dutch Branch Park onto Lakeview Drive. Follow Lakeview Drive past the Model Airplane Park until you come to the next inlet. Launch from any of the shoreline areas along the point extending easterly into the lake.

The Slough or Inlet along the western shore provides a great place to launch from on this lake. The shallow point is too shallow for fishing boats to venture into for the most part. Most boats honor this secluded area of the lake for Para Sails and Kite Boarding. Just be aware there are ledges frequented by fishing boats a 1/2 mile or so into the lake. Although a watercraft under sail has the right of way over craft under power, be considerate as the chanels are prime areas for fishing. A report to the local Law Enforcement of dangerous behavior is most times acted upon with haste on this lake. I frequent it often and enjoy the courtesy I encounter by most folks I see and meet.
