To get to Deer Creek from Cody, drive Southwest on WY 291 (aka: South Fork Rd). It'll go by the Buffalo Bill Reservoir. Drive for about 40 miles to a bridge at the bottom of Deer Creek (44.1619°N, 109.6249°W).

When the water is low enough, there is a potential canyoneering route here. I've explored up river about half way, and it looks like it'd be a fun swift water route.

When the water is high enough, I've seen kayakers come down this canyon. It's in a narrow canyon, with waterfalls.
