From E6 you go west towards Fredrikstad. Take the south of Sandesund broa exit. Take a right on Vardeveien, the first right after the exit. Follow this to the top, before it starts going down hill again, you will see a little forest road that opens into a parking lot. There is a small sign with "Vetatoppen". Park there and follow to trail to the top. It is about a 1-1.5 mile hike.

There is a small sign that says"Vetatoppen". Park there and follow to trail to the top. It is about a 1 mile hike. (2 km.) At the top there is a big opening, perfect for picnicking, camping etc. There is a tower you can climb to watch the entire surrounding area. Perfect for a family trip.!
