Blue River Parkway Missouri

Please be considerate of wet trails along the river bed. Some of the best horse back riding trails are in bad shape due to being ridden when too wet. The trails along the river stay wet a long time. The hills to the east are too rocky in places for horses.

The easy riding is along the river. For more challange, cross the river, find the river crossing that goes under Blue River road and ride the hills. For a map go to earthriders.com. Support good trails and don't ride these trails when muddy, please.

Along the river there are easy level trails. Part of the trails are an old rail road bed.
