Table Mountain, Teton Range Idaho

Table Mountain is an 11 mile roundtrip hike with extraordinary views of the Grand, Middle, and South Tetons. The summit is 5.5 miles from the trailhead. The first 3/4 of mile of the trail is fairly steep and quickly takes you into Huckleberry Canyon. Huckleberry Canyon offers majestic views of various waterfalls and rugged cliffs. Moose and Mule Deer can be normally seen in Huckleberry. There are 2 large stream crossings in Huckleberry and you should expect the creek to be flowing over the wood bridges until late July. Expect to get wet until early August. About 4 miles up the trail you reach the head of Huckleberry and the start of a long set of switchbacks that take you to the long ridge leading directly to the summit. It is 1.5 miles up the ridge to the summit.
