Alum Creek State Park Ohio

The campgrounds at Alum Creek are separated by pet and non-pet areas. There are nature programs for kids every weekend throughout the summer that are educational and appropriate for a good variety of ages. The campsites are normally shaded and are a good distance apart for privacy. There is a private beach for campers. The bathrooms are sometimes stuffy in the summer and can get filled with bugs. There is also no soap to wash your hands in the bathrooms so bring some along. It is a larger campground and has easy access to boating and other water activities.

Cross-country skiing is permitted at Alum Creek weather permitting. It is located along the multi-purpose trail which is seven miles long and is moderate. The access to this trail is located on CR 21 between Plumb Road and Lewis Center Road.

Alum Creek State Park offers 3 mountain bike trails. There is a 2 mile easy trail, a 5 mile moderate trail, and a 7 mile difficult trail. Access to all three trails are available off CR 21 at various points.
