Mohican State Park Ohio

Mohican is one of the busier campgrounds and reservations go fast. Campsites are a little closer together than at other state parks, but there is a swimming pool, playground, clean showers, and some sites back up to water. Mohican is known for tubing and it's great landscape. They also have volleyball, a camp store, basketball, and horseshoe pits.

Mohican is home to a 24.5-mile mountain bike trail. It was voted the #1 mountain bike trail in Ohio by Mountain Bike Action magazine. Mohican also hosts the Mohican MTB100 which is a stop on the National Ultra Endurance Series.

There are six hiking trails at Mohican that range from 3/4 of a mile up to 2-miles in length. The difficulty levels range from easy to difficult and will bring you through some scenic areas of the park.

Snowmobiling is permitted on the snowmobile trail which is located at the southern end of the park. It is also permitted on the trails adjacent to the state forest.

There are three bridle trails along SR 97. This is located along the south end of the park. There is the Grouse Trail, Pine Run Trail, and the Snowmobile Trail.
