Hocking Hills is home to some great hiking trails with wonderful sites. It is advised that you are cautious while on the trails and that children be closely monitored as some of the trails are dangerous. There are 9 hiking trails that range from a quarter mile up to 6 miles with various levels of difficulty. The Conkle's Hollow trail is handicap accessible.

There are two mountain biking trails to choose from at Hocking Hills. Both are 2 miles in length. The Purple Trail Loop is designated as a moderate trail while the Orange Trail Loop is designated as a difficult trail. Both are located close to the campground.

The campground offers sites with electric or primitive. There is a swimming pool (for registered campers), camp store, showers, playgrounds, volleyball, and horseshoe pit. The campground is located close to Old Man's Cave.
