Park just below the dam at Clinton Lake near the restrooms on the south side of the river. The wave is located about 800 yards down from the outlet of the dam.

This wave is only runable about 1-2 weeks a year.

Wave is best when levels are between 800-1100 cfs. There are entry eddies on both sides of the class II & class III wave.

Be EXTREMELY careful if flow is below 800. The wave is hard to get out of when levels are 800 and lower. Be sure to have help on the shore.

Check http://waterdata.usgs.gov/ks/nwis/uv?06891500 for flow.

Sometimes there are a few fishermen in the area so don't become the biggest sucker some poor fisherman has ever caught.
